Hands on Healing

The first degree of Reiki is hands-on healing. This is a perfect modality for self-healing and also provides a wonderful tool to bring healing to others through a warm gentle touch.

The Reiki I Workshop is a one day course that begins with a discussion of the history of Reiki and expands on some additional background information. Participants learn two of the Reiki symbols and are taken through a guided meditation that includes an attunement to first degree Reiki. After a short break participants are lead through a self-healing exercise.

The class breaks for lunch (which is provided) and participants return to learn about offering healing to others. Participants then work in groups with the other participants to provide healing to one another. By the end of training everyone has both given and received a complete healing.

Each participant goes home with a booklet highlighting the material covered during the training and a certificate indicating the completion of Level I Certification in the Unlimited System of Reiki.

Participants are encouraged to wear cool, comfortable clothing and come prepared for a relaxing and insightful day.
